Traditional Ecological Knowledge Internship
The Cultural Preservation Department is pleased to announce internship opportunities focused on projects related to Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK). Interns will be selected to support work in the following areas:
- Forest and land management
- Public outreach
- Aquatics and fisheries
- Native nursery operations
- Cultural education
- Plant propagation
Interns will gain hands-on experience supporting TEK-related initiatives, working closely with department staff, and contributing to projects that support cultural preservation and natural resource stewardship. Click here for details.
Tribal Historic Preservation Advisory Committee
The Committee shall provide cultural guidance and advisory input on matters impacting Wilton Rancheria, ensuring that programs, policies, activities, and decisions are respectful of, aligned with, and compliant with Wilton Rancheria’s traditions, customs, values, and cultural protocols. The Committee shall serve as a consultative body to promote cultural integrity, safeguard traditional practices, and support culturally informed decision‑making across Tribal operations.
