Wilton Rancheria Courts’ Self-Help Center is led by the Self-Help Attorney, AmyAnn Taylor. Ms. Taylor comes to Wilton Rancheria after serving as Attorney General for the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians where she fulfilled a critical role in the Tribe’s executive leadership by handling all legal and governmental matters of the Tribe and its business entities. Ms. Taylor received her Juris Doctorate from the McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento and graduated from Brigham Young University with bachelor’s degrees in political science and communication. Ms. Taylor brings a wealth of experience to the Tribal Court and is knowledgeable in tribal, state, and federal law.
The Self-Help Center may not provide legal representation to any member but is able to provide free legal information and guidance to Wilton Rancheria members. Center staff is able to provide assistance on a variety of legal matters including, but not limited to: Tribal Court matters, Family Law, Property Law, Wills & Trusts, Probate, Restraining Orders, Contract Law, Administrative Agencies (Veteran’s Affairs, IRS, City/County permits, Social Security, etc.). Additionally, Center staff can help members determine the most effective and appropriate approach to address their legal issues as well as review forms to ensure they are ready to file with the appropriate court. Please email TribalCourtInfo@wiltonrancheria-nsn.gov with any questions regarding the Self-Help Center or if you are unsure whether the Self-Help Center would be able to provide assistance for your individual legal matter.

To request an appointment with the Self-Help Center, please complete the Self-Help Center Request Form. Self-Help services are offered on a first-come, first-served basis in the order of Request Form submission. The Form must be completed prior to any Self-Help services being rendered.
